COVID MATH SUPPORT
I’m offering a variety of new formats to help you and your kids make it through this year feeling strong and confident in math. All sessions are offered online or in my backyard office in inner southeast at a safe distance. I have an online notebook, so students can see me and my ‘blackboard’ at the same time

LEARNING POD SUPPORT Students: I work with small groups of students on specific learning goals or we put together a specialized math curriculum that suits their inclinations and skill level.
Parent coach: I can help you better incorporate math instruction in your curriculum. I can help you design curriculum and create optimal math learning experiences with kids: best practices including issues with motivation, self confidence, anxiety, etc. All day texting
|
Got a math question? I’m available by text to offer helpful hints or answers to specific problems. Just text a shot of your work and I usually get back to you either immediately, or within a few hours. I’m just trying this out now and there’s no limit to how many times you can text. Good deal!
Small Classes
|
I support small groups of students in middle school or high school, who are all working towards the same learning goals. These classes support students who are receiving math instruction at online school, or students who want to tackle the curriculum on their own. Students enjoy the camaraderie of the others in the group and they also learn how to support each other in their learning. Pre-algebra through calculus.
Individual tutoring
|
As a counselor and tutor, I feel individual tutoring is the optimal way to get the specialized attention you need to succeed in math. Whether you’re in a traditional school class, or working on your own curriculum, we work together to identify what’s getting in the way of your learning- anything from anxiety to multiplication facts, or attention deficit. Then we develop a way to work with your particular learning style to help you gain confidence and learn better, faster and easier.
